We are currently recruiting a Manager - Commercial Governance for a period of 8-Months with our client based in Dubai, UAE.
Job Summary:
1.Governance & Compliance Management
- Review and ensure all processes, policies, procedures, and operating manuals comply with internal regulations and established standards.
- Oversee compliance across commercial activities to maintain the highest level of operational quality.
- Ensure the commercial compliance program aligns with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, and performance standards.
2.Audit & Risk Management
- Support the Line Manager with internal and external audit requests by coordinating data collection, stakeholder inputs, and required documentation.
- Manage corrective actions arising from audit and quality reports, ensuring timely closure and maintaining accurate records of communications.
3.Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand business needs, industry dynamics, and key performance indicators.
- Support the department in technical evaluation processes for commercial tenders.
4.Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Compile benchmarking data against key clients and global best practices.
- Develop narrative reports summarizing quality and compliance findings.
Job Requirements:
- 5-6 years of total experience in commercial governance, compliance, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of airport retail business operations.
- Knowledge of international retail standards and performance metrics.
- Ability to prepare, interpret, and apply financial concepts.
- Awareness of global retail and F&B trends, especially within travel-related environments.
- Understanding of the UAE and GCC retail landscape and business environment.
- Solid understanding of local laws, compliance, and governance frameworks.
