JOB TITLE

Manager- Employee Relations | MAF Retail | Retail Corporate Egypt

Role Summary

Employee Relations Manager is a Human Capital professional who specializes in managing the relationship between employees and the organization. He/she will handle employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair treatment and compliance with company policies and employment laws. Employee Relations Managers play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment, promoting employee satisfaction, and mitigating potential conflicts.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Conduct end-to-end investigations into complex and sensitive workplace complaints, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and code of conduct violations.
  • Prepare detailed, objective investigation reports with findings and recommendations for corrective action.
  • Design, implement, and update the Employee Handbook and corporate policies to ensure they remain modern, inclusive, and legally sound.
  • Ensure all P&O activities comply with local labor laws, or relevant international
  • Manage mandatory filings and documentation required by government agencies or labor boards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for people managers on topics such as legal interview techniques, documentation best practices, and labor law updates.
  • Develop standardized workflows for disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and grievance handling.
  • Act as a neutral party to mediate interpersonal conflicts between employees or between management and staff to resolve issues before they escalate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in administration or human Capital Management
  • 5-7 Years experience in employee relations, preferably in a managerial or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulation
  • Exceptional ability to remain impartial and maintain strict confidentiality under pressure
  • High-level written communication skills for drafting formal reports and corporate policies.
  • Ability to challenge senior leadership on ER matters and provide data-driven recommendations.
