Leads overall financial management of the BU, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities
STRATEGIC
Review and submit monthly TB,P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget) and provide insights to senior management.
Provide financial models to dealership management for pricing, promotions, and expansions.
Prepare and monitor annual dealership budgets and cost control strategies.
Analyze profit margins for vehicle sales, service, and parts to improve profitability.
Ensure accurate invoicing and credit control for vehicle sales, service, and parts.
Verify dealer financing transactions, LPOs, and commissions from banks & finance companies.
Leads external and internal auditors by providing necessary financial records.
Ensure Tax & Financial reporting compliance.
OPERATIONAL
Timely and accurate monthly closing of books of accounts. Ensured month closing is done as per the set deadline while ensuring that all the reconciliation i.e. sub-ledger to GL, inter company and bank reconciliation etc..... during or post-closing. Further improved the efficiency of the month-end process. Year end closing is done on time and ensure that there are no changes in year end closing numbers and audited numbers.
Automate processes, enhance ERP system (D365) to optimize process effectiveness & efficiency and develop reports. Collaborate with the IT team to fix system Bugs.
Provide support to VP Finance for effective treasury working capital management strategy aimed to optimize the liquidity and minimize the finance cost. This includes reviewing inventory and advising the BU management to maintain the stock at optimum level and reduce the DSO to improve the cash flow.
Collaborate with Tax Business Partner to ensure BU tax compliance and timely filings, avoid penalties and maintaining regulatory adherence
Leading External , Internal and Zakat Audits ( To complete Audits as per group timelines )
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Lead and mentor the accountants, AP, AR, and GL teams.
Conduct regular training on financial policies and compliance.
Work with internal departments (e.g., HR, marketing) and external parties (auditors, banks) to align financial activities with overall business strategy.
Education
QUALIFICATIONS
B.com / Master of Business Administration- Finance
Experience
Atleast 7 years experience. Preferred 810 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within an automotive Dealership
Knowledge & Skill
Financial reporting, controls, governance, and accounting standards (IFRS)
Finance operations and respective processes
Broad understanding of ERP systems in the context of how they enable Finance operations and processes execution; exposure to MS Dynamics is a plus
Familiar with Tax regulatory framework in KSA and its implications
strong critical thinking, communication, presentation, and strategy development skills
Personal gravitas and ability to interact with senior leadership of an organization and ability to inspire and motivate teams
Broader knowledge on Zatca related audits and queries based on previous audit experience
