Reporting to: Senior Manager Global Fan Marketing

Role location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose: As the Manager MENA Fan Marketing , you will lead our efforts in connecting with local esports communities. This role is crucial in building and nurturing relationships with fans, fostering a sense of community, and driving engagement at the local level.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage local esports fans and communities.
  • Organize and manage local events, meetups, and fan activities to foster esports community spirit.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for local fan groups and community leaders.
  • Collaborate with the content and social media teams to create localized content that resonates with local fans.
  • Manage communication channels specific to local communities, ensuring timely and relevant updates.
  • Develop and distribute announcements and other communications tailored to local audiences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local esports organizations, influencers, and partners.
  • Work with external partners to co-create events and initiatives that engage local fans.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align local engagement activities with broader organizational goals.
  • Gather feedback from local fans and communities to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Analyze engagement metrics and community insights to inform strategies and improve engagement.
  • Provide regular reports on local engagement activities and outcomes.
  • Plan and execute local fan events, ensuring a high-quality and engaging experience for attendees.

Education and Experience


  • 5+ years of experience in community management, fan engagement preferably in the esports or gaming industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Strong understanding and passion for esports and gaming culture.
  • Good understanding of the local fanbase.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Proven ability to localize fan marketing strategies for the MENA region, leveraging strong cultural awareness and market knowledge of Saudi Arabia.
