We are looking to hire a Manager - Quantity Surveying with a strong background in pre-contract work within the real estate development sector for our client based in Dubai which is one of the largest semi government organization in the region.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.
Key responsibilities:
- Review tender documents and scope of works for feasibility, compliance, and strategic alignment.
- Prepare risk assessments, presentations, and seek bid approvals as per internal frameworks.
- Support pre-contract activities including reviewing job requisitions, drafting solicitation documents, and award recommendations.
- Prepare and submit competitive technical and commercial bids with detailed rate analysis and risk-based pricing.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including Risk and Legal, to resolve tender queries and ensure seamless contract execution.
- Collaborate with estimation teams to secure cost-effective proposals and maintain budget compliance.
- Standardize tender documentation, ensure QA compliance, and manage tender logs and reporting.
- Lead contract compilation and support final negotiations, ensuring all documents are complete and stakeholder-aligned.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- 8-12 years of GCC experience in pre contract quantity surveying.
- Bachelors degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering or related field
- Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE construction market and local regulations.
Availability:
- Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or a maximum 30 days after accepting the offer.
