Job Purpose
In this role, you will conduct audits of business, risk, financial, compliance as well as operational processes across the bank and its subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute audits across assigned domains within defined timelines and budgets.
- Responsible for Regulatory Reviews management, closure, validation etc.
- Perform audit work in accordance with internal audit standards and IAD manual requirements.
- Assist in performing investigations and special reviews as applicable.
- Maintain effective relationships with business units and IAD colleagues.
- Support in performing periodic follow-up on open findings as well as validation for closures of findings raised by IAD and/or regulatory authorities.
- Assist Head of Financial and Operations Audit in bank-wide initiative to advise on risk, controls and governance aspects and other elements as and when required.
Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of banking processes across financial, operational, risk, and business domains.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and UAE banking regulations.
- Solid grounding in internal audit frameworks and process.
- Excellent report writing, analytical thinking, and presentation skills.
- Strong time management and market knowledge.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience spread across Financial / Banking sector.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is required.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS, ACCA, CA, CPA, CIA, CFA, FRM, or CFE are highly preferred.
