We are currently recruiting a Manager Service Design for 12 Months contract to our client based in Dubai, UAE.
Job Summarty:
This role will lead the creation of innovative service experiences across both physical and digital touchpoints. It will also focuses on designing actual customer journeys that involve interaction with people, facilities, and technology, not purely IT-based solutions. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in service design, user experience, and spatial/interior design to deliver holistic solutions.
JobResponsibilities:
- Design and optimize end-to-end service experiences across physical environments and digital platforms.
- Conduct research and map customer journeys, service blueprints, and experience roadmaps.
- Lead workshops, design sprints, and co-creation sessions with stakeholders.
- Deliver service design artifacts including prototypes, personas, and future state maps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement service concepts from ideation to execution.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate innovative technologies into design strategies.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Service Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or related discipline.
- Industrial engineering background with service design experience is acceptable.
- 5+ years in service design involving both physical and digital experiences.
- Exposure to aviation, hospitality, retail (malls), or theme parks required.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process and user-centered methodologies.
- Expertise in design research, strategy, and prototyping.
- Ability to create journey maps, service blueprints, and lead design sprints.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and related design tools.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
- Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
