Managing Partner Head of International Fac

Senior Operator - Underwriting -type, with a reinsurance background (strong preference for Fac underwriting).

Purpose:

Take over day-to-day operational execution for the MGA and drive underwriting discipline and placement strategy.

Support capital-raising and capacity negotiations with reinsurers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee underwriting process and portfolio performance.

2. Originate new business and manage Fac renewals and negotiations with capacity providers.

3. Implement operational processes and reporting systems.

4. Liaise with brokers, reinsurers, and regulatory bodies.

Ideal Background:

10+ years in reinsurance, preferably Fac underwriting.

London Market experience, ideally across both broking and underwriting sides.

Proven operator, able to run the ship, not just advise from the sidelines.

Comfortable in a lean startup environment.

Logistics & Compensation:

Location: Can be remote with some London travel.
