Role Summary:

The Marine Foreman supervises and coordinates marine construction operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. The Marine Foreman acts as the link between site management and marine staff, and his role involves managing crews, overseeing equipment and vessels, planning daily marine activities, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and maritime regulations.

What you will need to do:

  • Perform constructability reviews of method statements and heavy lift plans.
  • Organize and supervise the work ensuring that productivity is maintained at high levels.
  • Prepare detailed one-week lookahead schedules.
  • Define and timely request the equipment, human and materials resources necessary for the work.
  • Keep time sheets and properly report progress and issues to the engineers.
  • Ensure that your crew is HSE trained and competent and comply with the HSE requirements.
  • Lead by example in terms of HSE management.
  • Ensure that the work is performed to the required quality standards.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

  • Marine works experience (at least 5 years)
  • Experienced in using/managing marine equipment such as tugboats, barges, floating cranes etc.
  • Versed in rocks, concrete armour units & precast quay-wall blocks placing, and heavy lifting
  • Worked in open sea projects such as quay-walls, breakwaters, jetties, revetments and dredging
  • Tier 1 contractor experience
  • MENA region experience
  • English language command

Preferred Skills:

  • Oil & Gas projects
  • Mediterranean and Persian (Arabic) Gulf experience
  • Caisson's installation experience
  • Pipelines installation experience
