Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Communications Section Manager to join a leading museum institution and play a key role in shaping how our stories, collections, and programs connect with audiences locally and globally.

This role will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing and communications initiatives that elevate the museum's profile, drive visitor engagement, and support cultural and educational impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the museum's marketing and communications strategy across digital, media, and campaigns

Develop compelling storytelling around exhibitions, research, and public programs

Manage brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all channels

Oversee media relations, PR initiatives, and strategic partnerships

Collaborate closely with curatorial, public engagement, and leadership teams to amplify the museum's vision

Analyze campaign performance and visitor insights to optimize engagement and reach

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in marketing and communications leadership within museums, cultural institutions, tourism, or destination marketing

Strong strategic mindset with hands-on experience in campaigns, media relations, and digital marketing

Ability to translate complex cultural or scientific content into engaging public narratives

Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills

Passion for culture, heritage, storytelling, and audience engagement
