Description

As a Marketing Executive at Oxygen, you are more than an executor; you'll own strategy as much as delivery. This role is designed for a creative, proactive thinker who thrives on independence.

In the short term, you will master executing technical SEO, lead-nurturing, and multi-channel campaigns. In the long term, you will morph this role into the future by using AI to automate the mundane and spending your cognitive energy on high-value creative strategy. If you are someone who waits for a brief to land in your inbox, this is not the role for you. If you are someone who finds the gap, builds the solution, and then pitches the result, you are who we want.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing accounts without micro-management. You are responsible for identifying what needs to be done nextwhether it's a blog optimisation, a technical fix, or a homepage update.
  • Research your clients competitors and industry trends to propose creative marketing initiatives.. You don't wait for the client to ask for an idea; you pitch it first.
  • Own the technical and creative side of organic growth. This includes traditional SEO via Ahrefs and evolving strategies for Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO)
  • Act as a confident point of contact for clients. You must be able to explain the Why behind a creative idea and manage client expectations with professional clarity.
  • Own the ideation and execution of our internal marketing initiatives with the same rigor you apply to clients.
  • Assist in formulating strategies for new business and identifying upsell opportunities within our current accounts.

Requirements

  • 13 years in a digital marketing or agency role
  • Practical experience with CRM systems and SEO tools is highly preferable.
  • Ability to run a meeting with senior leadership, defend the team's proposed ideas, and challenge requests that do not align with the client's goals.
  • Critical thinker. You can recognise and evaluate LLM output before submitting AI slop to clients.
  • Proven experience in GenAI models for research, analysis, or other activities beyond drafting emoji-laden LinkedIn posts.
