Job Description

We are currently hiring a Marketing Manager to lead market expansion and go-to-market strategy across multiple African markets for a leading multinational organization within the technical / engineering products space.

This is a strategic and operational marketing role with a strong commercial focus, supporting both distribution channels and large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies across 16 African countries
  • Drive channel and distribution strategies, ensuring alignment on product positioning and the 4Ps (product, price, place, promotion)
  • Support large infrastructure and project-based sales (e.g. hospitals, buildings, industrial developments) through effective product positioning and specification
  • Generate and leverage market insights and data to support strategic decision-making
  • Engage with end users, consultants, and key stakeholders to drive demand
  • Build and deliver high-level value propositions for senior stakeholders
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and panel discussions

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in product marketing, channel marketing, or operational marketing
  • Background within a multinational organization
  • Experience working with technical / engineering products (not service-led industries)
  • Exposure to multi-country or emerging markets, ideally Africa
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex and resource-constrained environments

An engineering degree is preferred due to the technical nature of the products.
