Job Description

Our client, a globally recognised luxury brand group, is seeking a Marketing & Retail Experience Director to lead brand activation, retail marketing, and client engagement initiatives across the Middle East.

This is a highly strategic role positioned at the intersection of marketing, retail operations, and brand experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating brand strategy into impactful retail experiences, driving boutique traffic, strengthening customer engagement, and supporting commercial performance across the region.

Based in Riyadh, this role will work closely with regional leadership and global brand teams to ensure that all marketing initiatives, events, and retail activations deliver an exceptional and consistent luxury experience.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Marketing Strategy

Lead the development and implementation of regional retail marketing strategies that support business growth and enhance brand visibility across the Middle East.

Ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with commercial objectives and effectively support boutique performance and client acquisition.

Partner with retail leadership to translate marketing strategy into impactful in-store initiatives that elevate customer experience and drive sales.

Brand Experiences & Events

Develop and oversee a calendar of high-impact brand activations, events, and experiential initiatives designed to reinforce brand positioning and generate customer engagement.

Lead the planning and execution of VIP events, brand launches, partnerships, and retail activations across key markets.

Ensure all events and experiences reflect the brand's luxury positioning and deliver exceptional client engagement.

Collaborate with PR, communications, and digital teams to maximise visibility and impact of brand initiatives.

Retail Experience & Client Engagement

Work closely with boutique teams to elevate the in-store customer journey and deliver exceptional retail experiences.

Support the development of innovative client engagement strategies including clienteling initiatives, private events, and exclusive brand experiences.

Ensure consistency of brand storytelling and visual presentation across retail environments.

Support boutique openings, key retail moments, and major commercial activations.

Commercial & Performance Focus

Monitor retail performance and customer engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Use data and insights to refine retail marketing strategies and identify opportunities to increase traffic, conversion, and customer loyalty.

Ensure marketing initiatives contribute directly to commercial performance and long-term brand growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with global marketing teams, regional retail leadership, PR, and digital teams to ensure alignment across all brand initiatives.

Act as a key liaison between retail and marketing functions to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies.

Provide leadership and guidance to internal teams and external partners involved in delivering marketing and experiential initiatives.

Profile

Proven experience within luxury retail, beauty, fashion, or premium consumer brands.

Strong background in marketing leadership combined with exposure to retail operations or boutique environments.

Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale events, retail activations, and experiential marketing initiatives.

Commercially minded with a strong understanding of how marketing initiatives drive retail performance.
