About the Company
We are seeking an experienced Email & WhatsApp Marketing Specialist to lead and execute our customer communication strategy across email and WhatsApp channels. This role is responsible for building high-performing campaigns, automated lifecycle journeys, and personalized messaging strategies that drive conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value. You will collaborate closely with design, copy, e-commerce, performance marketing, and analytics teams to deliver timely, relevant, and revenue-generating communications across key customer touchpoints.

This role is responsible for building high-performing campaigns, automated lifecycle journeys, and personalized messaging strategies that drive conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value.
Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Execution (Email & WhatsApp)
- Plan, build, schedule, and execute weekly and monthly campaigns (promotions, product launches, seasonal moments, key commercial events).
- Own and manage the campaign calendar in alignment with commercial and performance marketing priorities.
- Develop segmented and personalized messaging based on customer behavior, purchase history, and lifecycle stage.
- Ensure campaigns follow deliverability best practices, mobile-first design principles, and brand consistency standards.
Automation & Lifecycle Journeys
- Build and continuously optimize automated customer journeys, including:
- Welcome series
- Browse abandonment
- Cart abandonment
- Post-purchase journeys (upsell, cross-sell, reorder reminders)
- Review & UGC requests
- Winback and reactivation flows
- Loyalty / VIP programs
- Continuously improve automation performance to increase engagement, conversion, and reduce churn.
Segmentation & Personalization
- Create and manage advanced customer segments (RFM, new vs. returning, high-intent, VIP, category affinity, inactive customers).
- Implement dynamic content and personalized product recommendations to increase relevance and revenue.
- Collaborate with BI/Analytics teams to enhance data structure, targeting logic, and customer insights.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Track, analyze, and report on key KPIs across email and WhatsApp, including:
- Revenue & conversion rate
- Open rate & CTR
- Unsubscribe rate
- Deliverability, bounce rate & spam complaints
- WhatsApp opt-in rate, click-to-purchase rate, and response rate
- Conduct A/B testing (subject lines, creative, CTAs, offers, segmentation, send times).
- Provide monthly performance insights with clear, data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in CRM, email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or retention marketing (preferably within e-commerce).
- Strong understanding of email and WhatsApp marketing best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail (QA, links, tracking, segmentation, personalization accuracy).
- Fluent in Arabic (mandatory).
Required Skills
- Email platforms: Klaviyo or similar ESPs
- WhatsApp Business API tools
- Analytics: GA4, Shopify backend, reporting dashboards
- Bonus: Basic HTML for email templates and knowledge of UTM tracking
