About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team at Acu House. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of various massage techniques, and a commitment to maintaining a professional and comfortable environment for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and hot stone massage, ensuring the application of appropriate pressure and technique.

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions about massage techniques and benefits, and creating a relaxing atmosphere.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in client condition.

• Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and maintain a steady flow of business. Ensure that all appointments are documented accurately.

• Assist with administrative tasks such as processing payments, managing client files, and handling appointment bookings.

Educational Qualifications

• High School Certificate

• Certification or diploma in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution.

• Valid license or eligibility for licensing with the Dubai Health Authority.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of massage techniques and anatomy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

• A strong commitment to delivering outstanding client service and creating a welcoming and therapeutic environment.

• Prepared to handle any emergencies that may arise during sessions, including medical issues or injuries, and respond appropriately according to training and protocols.

• Follow all health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures and proper handling of equipment and products.
