Job Title: Material Engineer (P3A)

Job Summary:
Grupo Middle East is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Material Engineer (P3A) to join our project team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing material approval processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining quality standards across infrastructure and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve material submittals in accordance with project specifications and international standards
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and project quality requirements
- Conduct inspections, testing, and evaluation of construction materials
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers regarding material approvals
- Monitor site activities related to material usage and compliance
- Prepare technical reports and documentation related to material testing and approvals
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil or related field)
- Minimum 10+ years of total professional experience
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar senior Materials Engineer role
- Valid UPDA/MME Certification (P3A Grade)
- IRCA ISO Certification
- Strong knowledge of material specifications, quality control, and international standards
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and coordination skills
- Ability to work under tight timelines and project demands
- Must be locally available in Qatar with valid QID
