Job Summary
The Material Handling Interface Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all interface activities related to the Material Handling System (MHS) within the airport project. The role ensures seamless integration between MHS vendors, civil works, MEP services, IT systems, airport operations, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact for all MHS interface-related activities across stakeholders.
- Coordinate between MHS vendors, civil, structural, MEP, ICT, BHS, and airport operations teams.
- Review and manage interface drawings, layouts, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Identify, track, and resolve interface issues, clashes, and dependencies.
- Ensure alignment of MHS requirements with civil and architectural designs.
- Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and technical workshops.
- Monitor interface risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with airport standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Maintain interface registers, action trackers, and documentation.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on international airport projects.
- Exposure to BIM-based interface coordination.
- Prior involvement in commissioning and operational readiness (ORAT).
