Maternity Cover Cycle 1 Classroom Teacher

This position is a maternity cover role for experienced Cycle 1 teachers. Priority will be given to candidates who can join immediately and hold their own visa.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cycle 1 Teachers to joinour team on a temporary basis at one of our charter schools in Abu Dhabi region for AY 2025-2026 and lead our young learners in foundational subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background and degree in Early Childhood Education and a proven ability to create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in English, Math, and Science in alignment with the American Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
• Foster a safe and stimulating classroom that supports each child's development.
• Promote social-emotional growth through play-based and inquiry-led learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff to support student progress.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (mandatory).
• Teaching license/certification mandatory.
• IELTS Score of 7 mandatory
• Degree equivalency required

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a cycle 1 or elementary setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Understanding of the American Common Core Curriculum.
