Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Cairo for a Math Coach. The Math Coach will be responsible for supporting and mentoring middle school math educators in their instructional practices. Key responsibilities include designing and improving mathematics curricula, facilitating professional development sessions, observing classroom teaching practices, and providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. The role also involves staying updated with the latest developments in mathematics education and ensuring its alignment with institutional and STEM-focused goals.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education
- Experience in Coaching and supporting middle school educators
- Skills in Curriculum Development and tailoring educational content to age-appropriate levels
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Understanding of STEM-focused education is highly advantageous
- A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
- Proven experience in a similar role or in educational leadership is preferred
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse teams
