We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design & Supervision Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and supervising the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, lpg, and firefighting, for various construction projects. This role involves close collaboration with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality MEP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision Responsibilities:
- Oversee on-site installation of mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to design and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical installations.
- Address and resolve technical issues on-site with contractors and consultants.
- Prepare progress reports and coordinate with project managers and clients.
Design Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical system designs (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) in compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Prepare calculations, technical reports, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local and international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, etc.).
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP design and site supervision, specifically in residential and hospital projects.
- Expert knowledge of Dubai Building Codes, DEWA, DCD, DM, and other local authority regulations.
- Hands-on experience in MEP authority approval processes in Dubai.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or equivalent certification.
- Experience in residential and hospital projects..
- Familiarity with sustainability standards (LEED, Estidama, etc.).
