One of our many projects, Azizi Venice, where Azizi is the Master Developer, has an approximate value AED 30 billion and is a mixed-use development located in Dubai South. The crown jewel located at the heart of the development will be Azizi Opera, a state-of-the-art opera house. Azizi Venice is planned to welcome over 30,000 visitors daily and Azizi Opera will become one of the most notable venues for high-caliber events in the emirates.

Role Description: The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing all mechanical systems such as AC, ventilation, smoke management, firefighting, plumping, and LPG so that it can fulfill a specific purpose, be economic and functioning throughout its intended lifetime.

Responsibilities:

To fully provide concept and design for the entire Mechanical Systems (Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Smoke Control, Fire Protection, LPG storage and distribution, Drainage and Water) for residential projects, from Concept Design Documents to Construction Documents

Provide comprehensive, accurate, and complete Mechanical design on a tight schedule while minimizing future cost variation from tender documents.

Efficiently calculating building cooling loads via Authority Approved software.

Designing of LPG systems that will be approved by Dubai Civil Defense.

Designing of firefighting system design as per Local fire code and NFPA.

Coordinating with Architects and Engineers to ensure Mechanical Services can be properly accommodated with minimal impact to building efficiency.

Managing CAD technical specialists via providing technical instructions and advice in ensuring design and layouts are as per AZIZI standards.

Providing assistance to site engineers in matters regarding the Mechanical Systems of ongoing projects.

Reporting to Project Managers and ensuring that Mechanical Design will be completed as per provided deadlines.

Coordinating with Submittal Engineers to ensure that submitted documents are as per respective Authorities requirements as well as record keeping of all Mechanical documents submitted.

Discussing with Mechanical Equipment suppliers to ensure equipment selected will be as per Mechanical Design requirements.

Reporting to the MEP Manager for presentation of design and incorporate MEP Manager's feedback as needed

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

7-12 Years

Role Specific Qualifications & Training:

Experience in Residential Developments and Commercial Buildings

Computer and Software Proficiency:

HAP, Duct design, Pipe design, Selection software, AutoCAD, MS office package
