Job Position: Mechanical Engineer (Building Construction)
Location: Abu Dhabi (Onsite)
Salary: AED 6,000 - 10,000 + Car + Benefits as per UAE law

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in villa and residential construction projects in the UAE. The role involves overseeing mechanical works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, UAE standards, and authority requirements, while coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute mechanical works for villa and low-rise residential projects (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage).
- Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project and authority requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
- Ensure mechanical installations comply with UAE codes, standards, and authority approvals (DM, DCD, DEWA/ADDC as applicable).
- Monitor site progress, quality, and safety of mechanical works.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
- Prepare technical reports, method statements, and as-built drawings.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Identify and resolve site issues, design clashes, and execution challenges.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in construction projects.
- Proven experience in villa / residential projects is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Familiar with UAE authorities standards and approval processes.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- UAE driving license is preferred.
