We are seeking a highly experiencedMechanical Engineerwith 1015 years of proven experience inmain contracting and/or client-side project executionwithin the UAE construction sector.
The ideal candidate must have strong site execution experience and the ability to manage MEP works across large-scale building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage mechanical works (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) from execution to handover.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed as per project schedule.
- Conduct inspections, testing & commissioning coordination.
- Manage subcontractor performance and ensure safety compliance.
- Prepare technical submittals, method statements, and material approvals.
- Support commercial team with variations, cost control, and claims if required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1015 years of relevant experience in UAE construction.
- Mandatory experience in Main Contracting and/or Client-side projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Familiar with UAE regulations, authority approvals, and DEWA/Civil Defense requirements.
- Proven experience handling high-rise / commercial / residential projects.
- Strong coordination and leadership skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working on large-scale residential or mixed-use developments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
