We are looking for a highly experienced Mechanical Manager to join our growing engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Mechanical Engineering Department.
- Oversee design, review, and coordination of HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Infrastructure mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, SMACNA, etc.) and local authority regulations.
- Manage multi-disciplinary coordination with Civil, Electrical, and BIM teams.
- Review calculations, technical reports, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents.
- Support pre-tender and post-tender engineering activities.
- Control budget, man-hours, and engineering deliverables.
- Mentor and develop section heads and senior engineers.
Technical Requirements:
- Strong experience in large-scale projects (Infrastructure, Water/Wastewater, Industrial, Commercial, or Mega Developments).
- Advanced knowledge of:
HVAC load calculations & system selection
Pumping systems & hydraulic calculations
Firefighting system design (sprinkler, foam, clean agent, etc.)
Plumbing & drainage systems
- Proficiency in: Revit MEP & BIM coordination, AutoCAD, Elite / HAP / Carrier software (or similar), Hydraulic modeling software (WaterGEMS / HAMMER is a plus)
Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Strong team leadership and decision-making skills.
- Strategic thinking and cost-control mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple fast-track projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within ISO-controlled environments is preferred.
