Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in Rotating Equipment with strong experience in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and Detailed Engineering phases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working on ADNOC onshore projects and a strong understanding of international codes, standards, and engineering best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute and support engineering activities for rotating equipment during FEED and Detailed Design phases.
  • Perform equipment selection, sizing, and technical evaluation of pumps, compressors, turbines, and packages.
  • Prepare and review datasheets, specifications, and requisitions for rotating equipment.
  • Conduct technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process, piping, electrical, and instrumentation.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and international codes (API, ASME, ISO, etc.).
  • Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and model reviews.
  • Support procurement, construction, and commissioning teams as required.
  • Resolve technical queries and provide engineering solutions during project execution.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • 8-12 years of experience in oil & gas engineering, with a focus on rotating equipment.
  • Proven experience in FEED and Detailed Design phases.
  • Mandatory experience working on ADNOC Onshore projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Compressors, Pumps, Blowers, and Agitators.
  • Strong knowledge of API standards (API 610, API 617, API 614, etc.).
  • Familiarity with engineering software and tools used for rotating equipment design and analysis.
