Job Description

We are looking for Mechanical Site Engineer

Aquarabia for industry and contracting, a leading company in the field of water treatment, is seeking to hire a Mechanical Site Engineer to join its dynamic team to take full ownership of water treatment projects from planning through execution to final handover.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to take full ownership of water treatment projects from planning through execution to final handover.

The role requires independent project leadership, direct coordination with the Client (Owner) and Consultant, and full responsibility for delivering projects in line with approved scope, schedule, quality, and technical requirements.

The position follows a hybrid work model, combining office-based planning and coordination with on-site execution and supervision, based on project needs and execution phases.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Develop and manage the project execution plan, schedule, and milestones.

Lead and execute projects from kick-off to final handover.

Coordinate and direct technical office, procurement, and site teams.

Control project scope, priorities, and execution strategy.

Monitor progress, identify risks and delays, and implement corrective actions.

Prepare and issue weekly and monthly progress reports.

Client, Consultant & Approvals

Act as the primary technical point of contact with the Client (Owner) and Consultant.

Lead technical discussions and close all consultant review comments.

Coordinate and lead site inspections, tests, and approvals.

Ensure all approvals and deliverables are aligned with project schedule and technical requirements.

Site, Quality & Handover

Ensure execution complies with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Plan and manage testing, commissioning, handover and collection activities.

Deliver complete as-built documentation and close all punch list items.

Lead project closing and final acceptance with the Client and Consultant.

Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency.

Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.

Arranging for material delivery on site with the logistic team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics engineering.

35 years of experience in project execution and management.

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication with clients and consultants.

High sense of ownership and accountability.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong Relationship Building.

Good problem-solving abilities.

Software Skills

MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

AutoCAD (working knowledge)
