We are currently seeking a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to support our projects with technical expertise in HVAC, firefighting, plumbing coordination, and design review, ensuring high standards of execution and compliance across all phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing calculations for technical accuracy and compliance.
• Study project documentation received from the tender department (design drawings, BOQs, specifications, contracts).
• Prepare and submit RFIs for unclear, missing, or conflicting technical issues.
• Propose value engineering solutions without compromising on quality standards.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings to the consultant, coordinating with procurement to ensure material-shop drawing alignment, and follow up until obtaining Code B approval.
• Attend technical meetings with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with other departments (Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil) to prepare fully integrated coordination drawings.
• Support the Architectural team in preparing looking-up and ceiling coordination drawings.
• Provide ongoing technical support to the site construction team.
• Collect, submit, and monitor material submittals through to approval.
• Prepare and update quantity surveys during different project phases.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on site feedback and construction markups.
• Coordinate with planning teams to develop achievable and realistic project schedules.
• For renovation or existing building projects: verify structural as-built documents through random site checks.
• Prepare and submit variation orders (VOs) in coordination with project departments and follow up until approval.
• Manage all documentation required for Testing and Commissioning (TOC) and project closeout.
• Provide material take-offs in coordination with site teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience working in mechanical technical office functions, preferably in construction or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously.
