Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer based in Cairo, Egypt. The primary responsibilities include preparing and reviewing shop drawings, assisting in the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), collaborating with civil and electrical engineers, and performing quantity surveying tasks. The role requires close coordination with project management teams to ensure adherence to project timelines, standards, and specifications.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Shop Drawings and BOQ
- Background knowledge of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering concepts
- Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles and systems
- Expertise in Quantity Surveying and cost analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, Revit )
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Previous experience in the construction or consultancy fields is an advantage
