Job Title: Media Planning Director (Offline Focus)

We are working with a leading integrated media agency in Dubai that is looking to appoint a Media Planning Director with strong offline expertise, particularly across TV, to lead a key account and support the agency's continued growth across both traditional and digital channels.
This role is ideal for someone who has built their career in offline media planning and is now keen to broaden their exposure across digital, particularly within a performance-led, ecommerce environment.
The Role
As Media Planning Director, you will take ownership of strategic media planning across a major account, with a strong emphasis on TV and offline channels. You will be responsible for shaping full-funnel media strategies, while also collaborating closely with digital teams to ensure integrated, data-led planning across all touchpoints.
There is a clear opportunity in this role to transition into more digitally-led planning over time, particularly supporting a large ecommerce client with performance-driven objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of strategic media plans with a strong foundation in offline channels, particularly TV
- Own client relationships at a senior level, acting as a trusted advisor on media strategy and planning
- Drive integration between offline and digital teams to deliver cohesive, full-funnel campaigns
- Oversee campaign planning, execution, and optimisation across multiple markets where required
- Translate business and marketing objectives into effective media strategies
- Mentor and develop a team of planners, ensuring high standards of delivery
- Work closely with trading, buying, and digital teams to maximise performance and efficiencies
- Support the evolution of the account towards more data-driven and ecommerce-focused planning
Key Requirements
- Extensive experience in media planning, with a strong focus on offline channels, particularly TV
- Proven track record of leading large, complex accounts within a media agency environment
- Strong understanding of how offline and digital channels work together in an integrated ecosystem
- Experience or exposure to ecommerce or performance-driven accounts is highly advantageous
- Confident in client-facing situations, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
- Commercially minded, with a strategic approach to planning
