Job Overview
We are seeking a strong, experienced medical leader to drive medical strategy and leadership across the GCC, with a focus on Saudi Arabia. This role requires a highly competent, collaborative professional who can manage a high-performing team, engage with key opinion leaders, and deliver impactful medical and scientific initiatives across multiple therapeutic areas.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the GCC Medical Affairs team, ensuring high performance and alignment with regional and global strategies.
- Define and implement medical strategies across endocrinology, nephrology, hematology/haem-oncology, and rare disease areas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, key opinion leaders, and relevant stakeholders; existing networks in bone disorders are highly advantageous.
- Support data generation, early patient identification, and the development of scientific evidence to inform clinical and commercial decisions.
- Contribute to publications, congresses, and scientific meetings in the assigned therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across GCC and EMEA, including commercial, market access, and clinical development.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and ethical requirements in all medical activities.
- Manage complex people dynamics with tact, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Physician
- 5–10 years experience in senior leadership roles within Medical Affairs or clinical functions in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Regional experience in GCC, with a strong understanding of the Saudi market.
- Proven track record in people management, leading competent but diverse teams.
- Deep therapeutic expertise in endocrinology, nephrology, hematology/haem-oncology, or rare diseases.
- Existing networks with physicians in relevant therapeutic areas are preferred.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
