Key Responsibilities
- Perform biochemical and chemical analyses on blood, urine, and other body fluids using automated and manual methods.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain chemistry analyzers and laboratory equipment.
- Ensure accurate sample handling, labeling, testing, and result validation.
- Monitor quality control procedures and participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment or test-related issues.
- Record, review, and release test results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
- Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and waste management protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ISO, CAP, JCI, or local regulatory standards.
- Assist in training junior staff and students when required.
- Communicate critical or abnormal results to authorized clinical staff promptly.
