One of our clients is hiring board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to support the development of advanced clinical decision-support systems focused on acute care diagnostics, triage, and high-acuity treatment pathways. This opportunity connects frontline emergency practice with applied AI to ensure safe, rapid, and accurate clinical reasoning.
About the Role
You will apply real-world emergency department expertise to review, annotate, and validate acute care datasets. Your clinical judgment will directly influence AI systems designed to support triage, differential diagnosis, stabilization, and disposition planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and label ED notes, triage documentation, imaging summaries, and case records
- Validate differential diagnoses, stabilization plans, and disposition decisions
- Audit datasets for clinical accuracy and alignment with ACEP, ACLS, and ATLS guidelines
- Review AI-generated summaries and treatment recommendations for safety and clinical soundness
- Define annotation standards for high-acuity and time-sensitive conditions
- Advise on complex presentations including trauma, sepsis, stroke, and cardiac arrest
Ideal Qualifications
- MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active U.S. medical license
- 5+ years of experience in high-acuity emergency department settings preferred
- Strong background in rapid decision-making and critical care protocols
- Interest in medical AI, informatics, or clinical data validation preferred
