We are currently looking for a MEP Engineer (Villa & Tower) with a strong background in the retail fit-out industry to join our creative and dynamic team.
Job Overview:
As MEP Engineer, you will be responsible in designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring they meet standards. This role requires a solid understanding of the retail fit-out projects and the ability to create systems that integrate seamlessly into retail or commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems: Create efficient MEP designs and detailed drawings, 3D models, and schematics using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Contributing to Project Success: Ensure the MEP design supports the overall success and efficiency of the project.
- Collaborating with Architects: Work with architects to ensure MEP designs align with the overall building design and functionality.
- Working with MEP Team: Coordinate with other engineers and MEP team members to integrate MEP systems seamlessly to ensure proper completion of the tasks.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all MEP designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Assist in the estimation of costs for MEP systems, ensuring that designs are within budget while meeting the required functionality and performance criteria.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 3-5 years of UAE experience in MEP design for Villa & Tower
- Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM), HAP, Duct Sizer.
- Knowledge in UAE building codes, regulations, and standards, Civil Defense norms, UAE fire, and life safety system rules and regulations, DEWA, FEWA, TAQA, and other GCC regulations.
- Understanding of safety regulations and practices in maintenance, project installation, and construction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients, contractors, and team members.
