Job Description

China State Construction Middle East is recruiting MEP Project Manager for a newly awarded High-Rise Tower project in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management with complete responsibility for all situations.
  • Manage a team of staff, assign duties and responsibility to individuals and monitors the quality feedback
  • Guide the team in preparing all project documentation, submissions, follow-up, enhance, reinforce and achieve the milestone/targets.
  • Disseminate the information on a fast pace to all individuals ensuring the approved documents such as materials, drawing RFI, Methods Statements, other meetings info, interim site change developments and authority requirements.
  • Ensure timely submissions of claims, correspondence, closing of NCR's, clearances to other trades, Variations and EOT claims, weekly reports.
  • Tracking of cash flow, progress, long lead local held up order/deliveries.
  • Implement effectively and bring forth changes to the sudden change pattern of the work progress situations of main con and the other trades
  • Understanding / preserving/disseminating the contract requirements, contract documents, all document records, quality documentation, Health and safety policy, implement strict safety supervision.
  • Reporting timely to management the incidences, progress, cash flow, major events, areas of concern, forthcoming hindrances which impedes and discipline.
  • Support team members at various junctures of authority approvals, consultant and client meetings/discussions/inspections/NCR's.
  • Meeting authorities.
  • Review with consultant the monthly claim, material, drawing, RFI, NCR's, Variations submission/approval which impedes the progress.
  • Material technical discussions with suppliers, price negotiations, technical clarifications, to suppliers, early delivery of submissions and drawings from sub-contractors.
  • Expedite the site progress in close co-ordination with the sub-contractors, suppliers, labour, sub-contractors, site walks with team main con, implement testing and commissioning and handover procedure and documentation to the consultant/client and authorities.
  • Plan guide implement the storage, health, safety, training, tool box talk, manpower management, involve in the settlement of differences within the team and ensure smooth functioning of all interrelated team staff functions.
  • Co-ordinates with the contracts, tender, QHSE control, purchase, technical departments for support at various levels of progress.
  • Implement proper documentations procedures as outlined in the company ISO documentation Requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
  • 15+ Years of relevant work experience
  • High Rise Towers experience
