Lead and manage MEP project phases from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders. Oversee technical reviews, monitor project progress, manage budgets and invoices, and serve as the main point of contact with clients to ensure smooth project delivery and effective issue resolution.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead MEP project phases from initiation through completion, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Develop and execute project plans, methodologies, and schedules to align with organizational goals and standards.
- Oversee contractor and consultant activities to ensure compliance with contract terms and quality standards.
- Conduct regular meetings with project stakeholders to monitor progress, address issues, and align on project goals.
- Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams on MEP-related matters, ensuring adherence to best practices and relevant codes.
- Act as the primary contact for the owner, representing client interests with technical contractors and consultants.
- Prepare and deliver project updates and reports, detailing progress, challenges, and potential scope changes.
- Track MEP-related budgets, monitor expenses, and promote cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve contractor invoices and payment requests, ensuring alignment with project budget constraints.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in MEP project management, ideally in the retail industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MEP systems and processes.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with contractors, clients, and consultants.
