Job Description
Conduct thorough inspections of Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, ELV, firefighting systems to ensure
compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards.
Monitor MEP construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality plans, ITPs, and method statements.
Conduct witness testing and commissioning of MEP systems, including HVAC, firefighting,
electrical panels, and plumbing systems.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs, and quality logs
Review and approve contractor's quality documents, method statements, and test reports.
Ensure that all MEP works comply with local authority regulations and international standards.
Monitor corrective and preventive actions for quality-related issues.
Oversee the documentation of all accidents, safety violations, and unsafe conditions/activities.
Coordinate with construction teams to ensure that quality requirements are met
MEP snagging/ de snagging.
Additional Responsibilities
Conduct training sessions for site engineers and technicians on MEP quality standards.
Identify potential risks and propose preventive measures for quality assurance.
Assist in reviewing MEP shop drawings, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering .
A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management is a plus.
Minimum of 05 years of experience in Consultant or Main contracting of building and fit out
projects and/or luxury hotel/high-class residential buildings and high-class retail and f&b projects.
Any relevant MEP or QA/QC certifications from recognized institutions
Strong knowledge of MEP codes & standards (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE, IEEE, IPC, NEC, etc.).
Familiarity with MEP drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
Experience in testing, commissioning, and inspections of MEP systems.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC reporting tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
