We are seeking a skilled and proactive General Technician (MEP) with strong experience in commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, and hospitality operations. This role is ideal for someone hands-on, technically strong, and comfortable working across MEP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting MEP-related issues across outlets and facilities
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
- Supporting day-to-day operations of restaurants, and dark kitchens
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP, EHS, and safety standards
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen equipment
- Servicing freezers, chillers, ice machines, and refrigeration systems
- Performing preventive maintenance (PPM)
- Responding to emergency breakdowns and minimizing operational downtime
Core Skills & Technical Expertise
- Electrical & mechanical troubleshooting
- Strong experience in MEP systems in hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of commercial freezers, chillers, and ice machines
- Experience with commercial refrigeration systems (cold rooms, deep freezers, under-counter chillers, etc.)
- Copper brazing, pressure testing, vacuuming & compressor installation
- Heating equipment (fryers, grills, hot plates, salamanders, cooking ranges, etc.)
- Combi ovens, microwave ovens, and other general kitchen equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Technician / MEP Technician in hospitality environments
- Valid manual driving license (mandatory)
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites
- Flexible and responsive to operational needs
Salary: AED 4,000 4,500 per month (depending on experience)
