To maintain competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for new Merchant Enablement Officer:

Job Purpose:

The Merchant Enablement Officer will be accountable for overseeing and executing the full merchant lifecycle, starting from lead generation and onboarding, through documentation and system setup, up to the successful completion of the first live transaction. This includes ensuring smooth coordination across sales, operations, compliance, and technical teams to deliver a seamless and timely merchant activation experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute all orders processes for merchants
  • Review and verify merchant applications, contracts, and supporting documents.
  • Conduct initial KYC (Know Your Customer) checks in line with regulatory and company standards.
  • Ensure applications are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Escalate potential risks or discrepancies for further review
  • Ensure merchants have a smooth transition to activation
  • Provide feedback to Sales on common application errors and suggest improvements
  • Administer and facilitate entire registration cycle end to end including: All merchants request registration activities within 2 hours in all Geidea systems
  • Facilitate and create contracts in core banking system for key accounts and work closely with key account team to enable financial services and processes
  • Develop long-term relationship with internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 1-2 Years of experience preferably in the POS/Payment industry
  • Graduate with diploma or Bachelor Degree or POS experienced preferred
  • Intermediate English and Arabic level
