Mid-Level Media Buyer Responsibilities & Expectations

As a Mid-Level Media Buyer, your role is focused on executing, optimizing, and scaling paid media campaigns based on an approved strategy. You are expected to operate with ownership, analytical thinking, and performance discipline.

Experience Requirements

• Years of Experience: A minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven experience in managing and scaling paid media campaigns across various platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.).
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to manage diverse budgets and achieve consistent ROI/ROAS.

Campaign Execution

You are responsible for building and launching campaigns according to the provided strategy and account structure (Testing / Scaling or TOFMOFBOF). This includes correct budget distribution, accurate setup of events and tracking, and ensuring all ads meet quality and compliance standards before launch.

Performance Optimization

You are expected to monitor performance daily and optimize toward target KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, CTR, CPC, and CVR. This includes pausing underperforming ads, scaling winners, managing creative fatigue, and testing new angles or audiences based on data not assumptions.

Reporting & Insights

You must deliver structured weekly reports that go beyond raw numbers. Reports should clearly explain performance trends, identify the reasons behind wins or drops, and outline actionable next steps for improvement or scale.

Creative Collaboration

You are expected to collaborate closely with the creative team. While you are not responsible for creative strategy, you must understand performance creative fundamentals such as hooks, messaging by funnel stage, offers, and angle testing and translate performance insights into clear creative feedback.

Tracking & Technical Awareness

• You must ensure tracking accuracy at all times by monitoring pixels, events, attribution logic, and Event Match Quality. You are expected to flag and communicate any tracking or data issues immediately.

• Important Location Requirement

Location: This is an on-site position at our office.

Residence: Candidates must be residents of Tanta or within a very close commuting distance, ensuring daily presence at the agency.
