Position Overview
As a Mid-Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing,
maintaining, and enhancing high-quality web applications and services. You will
work closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers,
and other developers to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that meet business
and user needs.
Please also note that the candidate must have Golang experience.
Experience
- 2+ years of professional experience in PHP web development.
- Hands-on experience working with modern PHP frameworks, preferably Laravel.
- Practical experience with Golang in building backend services or APIs.
- Experience working in collaborative, team-based development environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and modern frameworks (Laravel preferred).
- Contribute to backend services and APIs using Golang when required.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code following best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to deliver high-quality features.
- Troubleshoot debug, and resolve application issues.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and release cycles.
- Contribute to technical documentation and code reviews.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
- Support and mentor junior developers when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and MVC-based frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Golang for backend development.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
