Middle Office Analyst

Hays are currently partnered with an international oil & gas trading company in their search for a Middle Office Analyst to join their team in Dubai.

The Middle Office Analyst will oversee derivative exposures, ensure accurate trade capture, and report and clarify daily exposure and P&L changes to Traders and Management, while also supporting the development and implementation of automation processes.

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer and working closely with the trading team. This position plays a pivotal role in risk identification and mitigation, working with traders to ensure accurate trade capture, developing valuation models for derivatives and supporting with process improvement.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in a Middle Office, Risk Management role for an Oil Trader.
• Solid knowledge of energy products i.e., Light Distillates, LPG, Biofuels, Middle Distillates and Fuel Oil.
• Sound understanding of energy derivatives and oil markets.
