Position Overview
We are looking for an n8n Developer to join our retail team and help us streamline and automate key business processes across sales, inventory, supply chain, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with n8n.io, APIs, and database integrations, and understands how automation can enhance retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation workflows in n8n for retail operations (inventory management, order processing, CRM, POS, and reporting).
- Integrate retail systems (ERP, POS, e-commerce platforms, CRMs, etc.) with n8n to ensure smooth data flow.
- Automate routine business processes such as stock updates, purchase orders, supplier communications, and customer notifications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize workflows for performance and reliability.
- Document workflow logic and provide training/support for internal teams.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and IT teams to identify automation opportunities that improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Ensure all workflows comply with data security and privacy policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience with n8n.io or other automation tools (Zapier, Integromat, Make, etc.).
- Solid understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data integrations.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing custom functions and nodes.
- Experience with retail systems (POS, ERP, e-commerce platforms, CRMs).
- Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).
- Basic knowledge of Docker and cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with non-technical teams (operations, sales, marketing).
