National Sales Manager
The National Sales Manager Commercial Vehicles (Trucks) is responsible for leading and executing the national sales strategy for the commercial truck business. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, market penetration, dealer/fleet relationships, and team performance across the UAE market while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Preferably Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Automobile / Industrial or related discipline)
- MBA or additional sales/management certifications will be an added advantage
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of overall experience in Commercial Vehicle (Truck) sales
- Extensive experience in the UAE market with strong understanding of regional business practices
- At least 5 years in a leadership or team management role
- Proven experience managing large and diverse sales teams
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute the national sales strategy for Commercial Vehicles (Trucks) in line with company objectives
- Drive market share growth, volume targets, and profitability across key customer segments
- Identify new business opportunities including fleet customers, key accounts, and government tenders
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer requirements within the UAE CV market
Market & Product Knowledge
- Maintain strong technical and commercial knowledge of Commercial Vehicles (Trucks), including specifications, applications, and regulatory requirements in the UAE
- Support customers and sales teams with solution-based selling, tailored to fleet and operational needs
- Collaborate with product, aftersales, and technical teams to ensure competitive offerings
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Engineers, Sales Executives, and Sales Coordinators
- Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance objectives for the team
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and skill development initiatives
- Build a high-performance, results-driven sales culture
Customer & Dealer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, fleet operators, dealers, and channel partners
- Lead negotiations on major deals, contracts, and long-term agreements
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Forecast sales volumes and revenues accurately and manage budgets effectively
- Track and analyze sales performance, pipeline health, and conversion ratios
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, business reviews, and management updates
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and approval processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Aftersales, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer experience
- Support marketing initiatives, product launches, and promotional campaigns
