About the role:
Lead and manage national used trucks sales operations by driving revenue growth, optimizing inventory turnover, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Oversee multi-region sales teams, set targets, analyze market trends, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards to maximize profitability and market share.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare volume and value forecasts for used trucks sales by region.
- Set targets for sales teams; review performance, call rates, and new prospects.
- Maintain a list of major customers; plan strategically to secure business and personally visit top prospects monthly.
- Ensure regional inventory is received, kept in good condition, monitored for movement, and accurately recorded.
- Maintain strict control of sales-related costs to stay within budget.
- Review product knowledge and sales techniques quarterly; develop training plans to enhance selling skills.
- Monitor and correct direct costs related to used trucks maintenance with the Service Department to align with budget.
- Monitor competitors activities; gather and analyze intelligence and recommend strategies for penetration and expansion.
Educational Qualifications and Certifications:
- University degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
Knowledge:
- Strong negotiation techniques and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to assess vehicle condition, determine fair market value, and manage lifecycle from acquisition to resale.
Technical Skills:
- Relevant product knowledge.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience:
- 8–10 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role in used equipment/vehicle sales.
