Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), including premature and critically ill infants
- Perform thorough assessments, diagnose, and manage complex neonatal conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to monitor neonatal health
- Educate and support families regarding their newborn's condition and treatment
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
- Participate in research initiatives and remain updated with the latest advancements in neonatology and neonatal care
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Neonatology from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Neonatology preferred
- Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi or the Gulf region
- Extensive experience in managing advanced newborn and NICU care
- Strong clinical skills with proficiency in advanced neonatal life support and interventions
- Excellent communication skills for effective family counseling and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently under high-pressure and critical care environments
