Job Purpose:
To ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of enterprise network infrastructure through effective configuration, deployment, maintenance, and continuous monitoring. The role aims to support business operations by delivering a resilient and high-performing network environment.
Key Activities, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable enterprise network infrastructures.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls.
- Manage and optimize Web Application Firewalls (WAF) for application-layer protection.
- Administer Cisco routers, switches, and wireless systems across enterprise networks.
- Integrate and secure Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) networking components.
- Implement and maintain VPNs, NAT, and advanced routing protocols.
- Administrate and manage the Cloudflare environment (CDN, Security Rules, DNS).
- Conduct regular firewall policy reviews and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical network services.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security best practices.
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
- Automate network tasks using scripting and configuration tools.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture and changes.
- Support audits and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead network-related projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior network engineers.
- Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies and tools.
- Respond to and resolve network incidents and escalations.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotations as needed.
- Prepare reports and updates for IT leadership.
- Ensure alignment with business continuity and security strategies.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or any other relevant field
- 4-6 years of related experience.
