Job Purpose
To design, implement, manage, and maintain reliable network communication systems that ensure secure, efficient, and uninterrupted data transmission across organizational infrastructure.
Key Accountabilities
Configure and maintain call control platforms (Cisco CUCM, Avaya, Mitel, Microsoft Teams, etc.). Also, Design, implement, and support voice communication systems (VoIP, IP telephony, and PBX). Besides managing Manage voice gateways, SBCs, and SIP integrations with service providers.Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams for voice servicesTroubleshooting & Incident Resolution, Diagnose and resolve network faults and incidents to restore services quickly, to reduce downtime and maintain business continuity. Troubleshoot voice, signaling, and media issues across LAN, WAN, and SIP trunks.Ensure high availability, quality, and reliability of voice services and Monitor and optimize voice quality (QoS, latency, jitter, packet loss)Performance Optimization & Capacity Planning , Analyze network performance and plan capacity upgrades to meet current and future demands, to achieve efficient resource utilization and sustained performance.Manage voice gateways, SBCs, and SIP integrations with service providers and Perform system upgrades, patches, and capacity planning Integrate voice systems with collaboration tools and contact center solutions and maintain accurate documentation of voice architecture and configurationsImplement voice security measures, including encryption and fraud prevention Areas of Contribution):

Qualifications, Experience & Skills required
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems (or a related field), or equivalent experience is required.
Professional Certifications
- CCIE / CCNP Collaboration
- Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer (MS-700 / MS-721)
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in voice engineering or unified communications.
- Expert-level experience with enterprise voice platforms (CUCM, Avaya, Teams Voice, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of SIP signaling, call flows, and voice architecture design
- Proven experience leading voice migration and upgrade projects
- Experience with SBCs, contact centers, and voice security solutions
- Strong experience in troubleshooting complex, multi-site voice environments
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical initiatives
Skills
Expert-level VoIP and Unified Communications architecture
• Deep knowledge of SIP signaling, RTP media flows, and call routing
• Enterprise call control platforms (Cisco CUCM, Avaya Aura, Microsoft Teams Voice, Mitel)
• Session Border Controllers design and administration
