Job Summary:
The Network Configuration Management Engineer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and auditing network configurations across the entire network. This role ensures that all network elements are provisioned correctly, configuration changes are controlled, and updates are documented, while supporting KPI/KQI monitoring and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the master configuration database and manage provisioning of all network elements.
- Track and document recent changes and historical records.
- Follow processes for configuration changes or upgrades.
- Prepare periodic reports on configuration changes and system updates.
- Ensure rollback plans are in place prior to any configuration change or upgrade.
- Perform periodic configuration audits.
- Hand over updated configurations to relevant teams and ensure proper KPI/KQI monitoring.
- Keep all concerned teams informed after changes are implemented.
Skills & Expertise:
- Experience with Ribbon solutions is preferred; experience with Ericsson, Oracle, Nokia, Cisco, or Huawei is also acceptable.
- Experience: Preferred 57 years
- Hands-on experience with SBC, Softswitch, Media Gateway, and SRE.
- Intermediate level of Arabic language proficiency.
- Strong understanding of network operations, change management, and configuration control.
It's a 12 months contract (with potential extension up to 2 years)
