Role Summary
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for the on-site implementation, configuration, testing, and stabilization of network infrastructure supporting critical operations during a time-bound project. This role requires hands-on delivery experience and full availability throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Implement LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi infrastructure in live environments
- Configure VLANs, routing, and baseline security policies
- Perform network testing, performance validation, and fault resolution
- Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and stability issues during implementation
- Produce and hand over accurate as-built network documentation
Required Experience & Technical Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
- Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, HPE, Fortinet, Aruba, or equivalent vendors
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and Wi-Fi design
- CCNP or CCIE preferred (CCNA or equivalent certification required)
- Proven ability to work under tight timelines in high-pressure, delivery-focused environments
- Mandatory onsite, full-time availability during implementation
