Network Engineer (UAE national)

One of our clients in Abu Dhabi is looking for a highly qualified Network, Systems, and Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in data center networking, virtualization, cloud platforms, DevOps, containers, storage, backup, and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Data Center & Networking

Implement, operate, and manage Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)

Deploy and support Data Center Core Technologies

Configure and troubleshoot enterprise networks (routing, switching, segmentation)

Virtualization & Private Cloud

Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere 8 (VS8)

Design and operate VMware Cloud Foundation environments

Administer vSAN and VxRail 8.0 infrastructure

Apply advanced virtualization and design best practices

Windows & Linux Systems

Administer Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure

Configure Windows Server Advanced Services

Manage Group Policy, Active Directory services, and system security

Administer Linux systems (Red Hat, CompTIA Linux+)

Cloud Platforms (Azure & AWS)

Deploy and manage Azure Hybrid and Azure Stack Hub environments

Support cloud infrastructure and DevOps workloads on Azure and AWS

Manage Azure services including compute, networking, and databases

DevOps, Containers & Automation

Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Build and manage containers using Docker

Deploy, operate, and maintain Kubernetes clusters

Automate system administration using PowerShell

Backup, Storage & Data Protection

Configure and manage Veeam Backup & Replication v12

Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies

Administer enterprise storage solutions including NetApp, SAN, NAS, and vSAN

AI & Advanced Technologies

Support AI-enabled workloads and cloud-based AI services

Assist with AI infrastructure and engineering platforms
